Floot is on this week's Product Hunt board because the pitch is the one people are actually making: stop opening a new builder, describe the app in Claude or ChatGPT, get a link. The showcase is not a mock. It is a grid of shipped things — a pixel RPG, a pattern tool, a couples budgeting app with a phone frame — each with a name and an author. That is the job. A database and a login, living at a URL, without a terminal.
The constraint is the point, so do not sand it down. You do not get a repository you can take to another host. Free is two projects and one published app, and the daily action cap is real. Pro at $25 is the plan if you are going to keep editing. Images, and any AI your published app calls through Floot, are a second meter. If you already know you want the code in GitHub, this is the wrong tool on purpose.
Best for a freelancer or a small team that needs one internal tool or a small product and already pays for Claude or ChatGPT. Skip it if you are hiring an engineer to own the stack.
