Moda is a browser canvas that turns a prompt into slides, social posts, ads, documents, or carousels you can still edit. The homepage is the product: a prompt box, an attach button, and format chips. Every shape, headline, and image stays selectable — not a frozen PNG from an image generator. Optionally pull a brand kit from a website URL so colors, type, and logo show up in the first draft. You pick the format before you generate, then restyle on a real canvas. Free is 500 credits a month. Pro is $30 per user per month with 6,000 credits; unused credits do not roll over. It will not hand you a native PowerPoint or Google Slides file. If that format is non-negotiable, this is the wrong tab.

Most AI "design" tools give you a picture. Moda gives you a file you can still poke. That is the whole argument. The homepage prompt — "Make a LinkedIn post…" plus a row of format chips — is honest about the job: a marketer or founder who would otherwise open Canva and stall on the blank page. Remix cards on the same page (quarterly sales stats, a conference speaker graphic) look designed, not generated. Whether the agent keeps your actual brand once you paste a URL is the test that matters, and we have not run a full brand-kit job yet.
Do not list it as a Gamma killer. Gamma is still the faster path if you present from a link and never hand anyone a .pptx. Recraft is still the path if you need a vector export. Moda is for the person who needs a carousel, a one-pager, and a hiring poster this week and will edit the type after the agent stops.
Best for small teams without a designer on call. Skip it if your company template lives in PowerPoint or Google Slides and leaving that file is a political problem. Free credits are enough to find out. No stars until we have exported a deck and a social set from the same brand kit.
