Saydi is a live conversation translator for meetings that do not share a language. The site itself runs the product: two-way, one-way, or transcribe, with language pickers and a Start Talking control. Two-way puts English on one side and Japanese on the other and waits for speech. Device frames show a Meet-style session where a project-status update keeps the names and the intent. A Chrome extension covers Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams; there is also web and mobile. It is built for speech in the room or the call — back-and-forth, names, status updates — not for translating a PDF. Pro is advertised at $9. Skip it if you only need a document translated, or if every meeting you join is already in one language.

  • Two-way, one-way, transcribe: Live demo on the homepage with language pickers and a Start Talking control.
  • Meeting extensions: Chrome extension for Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams web, plus web and mobile apps.
  • Conversation, not documents: Built for speech in the room or the call — names, status updates, back-and-forth — not PDF localization.
  • Free to try, Pro at $9: The site advertises a free start and a $9 Pro plan. Do not treat that as an enterprise SKU we audited.

TMRW VERDICT

For the meeting that is not in your language

by TMRW Team·Sep 19, 2026

This is the rare listing where the homepage is not a slogan farm pretending to be a product. Two panes, English and Japanese, "Start speaking to see transcription." That is the job: hear the other person in the meeting without hiring an interpreter. The phone mockups underneath make the comparison we would have made anyway — Google Translate on a project-status line vs Saydi keeping "Sarah" and the point of the sentence.

Do not confuse it with Granola. Granola writes notes in the language already being spoken. Saydi is for when that language is not yours. Do not confuse it with document translation either. If your problem is a PDF, this is the wrong tab.

Best for sales calls, standups, and travel where two languages are in the room. Skip it if you only meet in English, or if you need a certified interpreter for a legal or medical setting — a $9 app is not that. We used the public live demo; we have not sat through a real bilingual Zoom. No stars until we have.
